I'm so confused by the back and forth, these books really need more discription on time lines, it jumps from person to person which is ok but one minute she's tied to the bed then the next she's looking out the window??

so he slapped her with his open hand right across the left side of her face. 'He slapped her in the face' would have done me!

Totally expected this book to follow on from the last one! So confused right now :-/
