this book doesn't mention elinor ostrom at all in its discussion of the tragedy of the commons; i'm highly skeptical of all of chapter 5 and will definitely look to other resources before taking anything there at face value. two of the other "traps" are suggested to be solved by avoiding them in the first place (???) and to have inflexible standards (w/o context considerations or incentivization, idk how that works)
