Geez louise! Like most people I thought from the title this would be a fun little horror comedy. I was not prepared for the character story of these southern housewives and what they would to keep up appearances and protect themselves. I don't scare easily, but there were points in the book where my heart was racing, and it wasn't even the vampire part!
Loved it and will look into more of Hendrix's other books.
