Ugh. And a new writer seems to have taken over after a long break and is absolutely terrible at storytelling. We are not reading this for US politics!

It's a good book, you might want to steer clear of the chapters about Elaine. They're pretty annoying. I don't think I'll ever be finished. I think it's a soap opera.

So I'm pretty convinced that this is the novel version of a soap opera.

The author keeps taking vacations that last a week or two, but being this far into the book, I'm unwilling to give up.

I have a feeling that this book will never end.
