Finished Part 1. So far pretty good, gives Interview with the Vampire vibes in explaining the universe. The Magic system itself feels a lot like Dark Sun, the world overall feels like a mix of Dark Sun & Shadowrun or Eberron. I wouldn't at all be surprised to find the Dark Sun series of novels sitting in Sanderson's personal library.
