There have been several grammatical errors in the last few pages, it's a danger with self-pubbed writing.....

But the world-building and character-building are really solid :)

I am really enjoying this so far, my only issue is her name: 'Vol' because although, I'm sure it's supposed to be pronounced VAUL keeps making me think of:

There is no escape, she thinks. If I get any more burdened, I am going
to explode and then Jillain Towers will dock me my pay for exploding when I should have been working.
