Here we go again! Re-reading before diving into book 3

lawl, I love a spell cast gone wrong xD

Revisiting this book for a 3rd time to recap before getting to newly released book 2. It's as fun as I remember it being! Like, Muir, I think Kaplan does a great job of humor that doesn't only rely on sarcasm. She sets up comical situations, but they also drive the plot forward, it's commendable and a delight to read.

her head was an organ that might or might not be lost, when really, it should be the other way around; it wasn't her head that could be cut off, but her body from her head...

"I think...that decapitated makes no sense. It should be deceurpitated"
