The light tone and easy dialogue grabbed my attention. The kind of book that’ll hopefully help me escape thoughts that swirl too much at this time of year plus losing a friend. I don’t know much about USA history, only broad strokes, like the Depression. But not that MacArthur used the army to turf out the Bonus March. Robert relating current ‘30s events sounds like he’s talking about today. Eerie!
