Rereading this made me remember how annoying Dain and Violet are. Insufferable :/

I forgot how fricking annoying Dain is… and Violet tbh… but I love full cast audiobooks

Also, not sure if it’s good or bad that Tairn is my favorite character of this series.

IT'S LIKE THE ENDING OF RED QUEEN!!!!!!

Everything is not okay... everything is very much NOT okay. I'm in pain.

I knew that hater would betray us, I could feel it. He's bitter and jealous and unkind-- but this?! I would've never seen this coming

Being that this book occurs over the span of roughly a year (academically speaking), I think I can accept the fact that she's in love.

While I do agree that she doesn't have to use her power, she has to... that's kinda the point. So that said, Dain is pissing me off once again! I appreciate Xaden's brutal honesty, kinda sucks that Violet is strong-minded but weak-willed when it comes to the reality of her situation.

Couple of things for this update:
- OMG THAT KISS!
- Violet may be frail, but she definitely has one hell of a strong mind
- Tairn continues to be an iconic king
- Ridoc having ice powers (steady and solid) is incredibly hilarious considering how wild he acts
- Amber and Jack suck ass.

Stopping point for the day. I still hate Dain and am apathetic between most others but I love Tairn and Andarna ❤️
