this is one of the most well written historical mystery novels I’ve read in some time. The series is a few years old and had some historical inconsistencies - maybe not perfect but an engaging read.
There’s mystery: major focus!
There’s romance: board line steamy but not excessive. Fast past! Intelligent characters!
I’m definitely going to continue the series and the prequel.
