The first bit got off to a shaky start, but the plot has picked up and is a lot better so far

The beginning of the 1st chapter threw out a lot of information (most seemed irrelevant and a bit overwhelming) to establish it’s in the future, but half ways through the chapter that stopped and did a better job of world building than the first 1/2 of the chapter.

The word UberTaxi brings to mind Uber which doesn’t use cash so is a bit strange in my opinion.
