Finished book 1, Startide Rising. It is really good! Reminds me of Children of Time a bit, as one of the major themes is communication between humans and dolphins. I enjoyed how David Brin imagined a dolphin and human space crew, making it seem a possibility of the future. I enjoy books like this, that change your views of some aspect of the present into seeing its possible potentials in the future.
