I have just realised that the title of this section is 'faking 19' so it turns out that minor secret that I mentioned IS actually the 'unspeakable secret'. What the heck!!!!! The blurb says 'sometimes the truths are so deep and dark that we can't tell anyone'... But her best friend knows! And she tells her crush and her mum.......? Where is this 'unspeakable' secret the blurb claims?????

So I'm 176 pages in and there is still no sign of this huge secret that is "so unspeakable that we keep it safely locked away so no one will ever discover it". Like there has been a few minor secrets but either the blurb is extremely misleading or noël is taking her sweet time setting the scene
