I love this series! I love the idea of reclaiming justice and fighting systemic racism in this magical world of dysfunctional family dynamics mixing with spiritualism and navigating relationships. This book was much slower for me than the first and made me less invested in reading, but being YA it was also easy to keep reading when I did pick it up. After that ending I’m excited to read the next one!
