After Chapter 1 and the myth of the technologically precocious boy, I feel like I can start healing some part of myself that always tried to fit this mold that dominated in intellectual, technological communities. It explains so much about why I felt failed by MIT, why I put down Papert’s Mindstorms barely a chapter in and haven’t returned since, and now I can start moving on.
