I'm not eager to return after putting this down. Everything is very one-note. It opens to her being awoken by a dragon because her apartment is on fire. And it's very hum drum, like it happens everyday. No sense of urgency to escape. No surprise at the dragon. And everything since then is more of the same. No urgency. No sense of danger. We go through each day sun up to sun down like nothing is happening. Flat.

Story goes day to day.

It starts in a scene of urgency, but there is no sense of urgency. It's like escaping a burning building is a humdrum daily occurrence. Love the little dragon though. I am a bit farther along than I've updated.
