Ok, Sister's got some backbone. Sticking up for herself with the male love interest who did her and then said it wouldn't work out. She's still pathetic where he is concerned, but is finally taking a stand. Good for her! I hope it continues.

Not as good as I had hoped, but my hopes were HIGH, so maybe not a fair assessment of the book. I didn't realize the author was a RWA member, so now the insta-lust/love makes sense. It was good enough to want to read the next book in the series. Review to come.

Ok, witch you are completely intimidated by, who is MUCH stronger and faster than you tells you to RUN and HIDE. Do you stick around to try to help her against that which she is most likely sacrificing herself to fight so you can get away? TSTL moment number 1. I had such high hopes for this book. I really did.

Ok, the ONLY saving grace was the little old lady from next door using her hose to get the two getting it on to separate. Teehee. Act like an alley cat, get treated like one. Also, lmao, little old lady quoted Spider-Man at them. Good way to end the sex scene that really wasn't necessary.

The only character I don't really like is the male love interest Jackson. He's kinda dumb and stubborn and likes to grab the female MC to make his point... Not my fav.
