Page 1 was already ridiculously racially insensitive, but I'm now stuck with a physical copy of the book, so I DO hope to finish it.
I do *not* believe the author meant any harm, but god does it scream "white liberal." All I hear is a white voice coming out of a character that's supposed to be Black, and it kind of sucks. I'll try to enjoy the read regardless.
