God, this is tearing me up! 😢

And now we get the backstory to the spider demon in charge of this "family."

Ok, I take back about Shinobu Kocho being second best girl. She's a total psycho!

I've said it before and I'll say it again: I love these backstories to the demons. They are nothing more than vulnerable people who were taken advantage of by power-hungry sociopaths. Some of them are forced to do terrible things because their very nature has been warped and twisted by their change to a demon.

"There's a theory that the reason your life passes before your eyes is to give you a chance to search all your experiences and memories to find a way to escape!" I love this idea, and the next few pages fulfill this notion with Tanjiro cutting through the strongest, deadliest threads with a new, fiery form.

Oh, whoops. I realize that I was mixing the chapter numbers with the page numbers with that last update. Shoot.
Anyway, these past few pages are tense. The spider demon trying to forcefully forge a family with Nezuko, and Tanjiro figuratively spitting in his face with his words. And now we've got an interesting panel of a samurai wearing the same earrings as Tanjiro. As someone who's caught up in the anime, iykyk.

I can't remember if my previous post was on page 25, 35, or 65.
Anyway, I love that Giyu straight up ties Inosuke in place. Like, "dude, I've got better, more important things to do than take care of an obnoxious, wounded novice. Stay here."

First Inosuke, and now Tanjiro has broken his sword. Now I imagine how to come up with ways weapons in my DnD campaign can break.

It's not often that we see demon slayer swords break. You know that it's pretty significant when they do. It shows just how powerful these demons are.

"Nope. That is too big even for me. This is bad." LOL!
