I truly didn't anticipate the dual timeline in this novel. Every chapter switches from present to the past.
The writing style feels like a Victorian fever dream. Claudia seems like she may be losing it, so I'm quickly seeing her as an unreliable narrator.
I still have a lot of questions, and I'm hoping they are answered before I reach the end.

This is a very interesting concept. I'm getting gaslamp vibes in space. The MC is from a society where it doesn't believe ladies should have access to technology. Makes me think of Victorian times with the way they speak and dress.
We haven't seen the outside of her home, but all I can imagine is that it looks like a futuristic cyberpunk-like society.
