Started reading this as the "long book" of the Soul Tread Book Club list for 2023 and then (found out too late in the year) switched to the Audible version narrated brilliantly by Luke Thompson who does different voices for each character (!!!) (Penguin Classics). I'm going to persist with this in 2024 until I'm done!
