Not the usual Ruskin Bond style. It lacks his simplicity and mystery or his description of nature that travels one to hill stations of the north. I’ve found his other short stories more thrilling than this book. Also the first story seems to be authored by someone else, so not as engaging for Ruskin fans. Disappointed.
