I really tried to give this a chance after the first one failed to hit for me, but the writing and pacing is still trash. Plot point after plot point, it gave no time to process the things that were happening and it took the intensity away. I got tired. The relationship dynamics were also not convincing in the slightest. I should be made to believe the characters actually connect well, not just be told they do.
