Finished the book itself, reading the "behind the scenes" section. Not seen the animation (yet) but from the description of how it was made versus what I just read I think there are places where I got the "wrong" impression. Maybe even that it's assumed if you're reading the novel you've seen the animation. I may say more in my review when I finish this.
