On the fence about this book at the half way point. Not enough to DNF but I don’t feel drawn to keep picking it up either. I’m going to persevere though as there are moments I’m really enjoying even if the entire story isn’t ringing for me

Chapter three complete. I’m on the edge of enjoying but not quite engrossed yet

Marking my progress every time I finish a chapter. At the end of chapter two I can now see how this has come out of the Reylo fandom. As with any new fantasy novel it’s taking me a moment to get used to all the new words, names and places but the pace is engaging.
