The PUREPECHA, Indians, who still live here in parts of Michoacán But who back then populated the entire state, well, they consider the monarch to be the souls of the deceased, and offered them fruit and water every winter. The two communities were always very close, and the monarch, of course appreciated, the warm, welcome and support they received from the PUREPECHAS every year.
