Same, at least the mobile app.

For me too. I think calculating the end of 2023 challenges and starting the 2024 challenges is too much for their servers.

Usually the website interface is better than the (terrible) app. As Loren says, the increased traffic over the festive season is probably too much for the clunky old GR servers!

I'm having the same, Candi! Since the end of 2023, I cannot update "currently reading" books, and I am using the website interface. Let's hope it gets solved pretty soon! Happy new year!

They turned off some features such as updating page count because the website was slammed—at least that's what they are saying.

I prefer the website interface as well, but got desperate enough to try the app. Didn't improve! :D I guess in a few days it will sort out again :)

I guess this isn't a new problem at end of year, but I get cranky! :D It will resolve soon enough, I'm sure. Happy New Year, Marcio!

I did notice that with the page count update, Jan. Oddly enough, I rarely use that feature but had the urge to yesterday. Go figure! :D
