How do you like this book?

@Nequel it's been okay so far, albeit #spoilers it is essentially a 2020s Beauty and the Beast so far. Family oriented, smart, but unusual girl with unreliable father makes sacrifice to protect her family that results in her having to live in a foreign land where she is instrumental to the beast and his people's freedom in an over extended will they won't they that we already know the outcome of. I haven't seen the will they won't they thing come to fruition but it would be par for the course.

I will say I felt the leads character intro. She was very relatable during the family introduction section and that's what got me hooked into her and helped me make quick progress on the book so far. It's with checking out.
