Until last reading session, I thought society like the one in my farm would be based on the modern dictator ships of today and their historical background. Now that I’m halfway through, I realize that the society in this story is about an Utopia which decayed into a dystopia and how it can be seen as warning to democracies of the 21st century.

Reminds me of Netflix’s love, death & robots Episode Vol. 3 Episode 7 “Mason’s Rats”
