It’s geared toward men in some of the language/word choices. That’s fine, but personally, I feel like it narrows down the audience or takes me out of the envisioning I may have because it suddenly feels like it applies less to me as a woman. Not a big deal, but just something I noticed.

Also, upped the speed to 1.50x.

Yeah, so, there are a lot of topics that are a bit repetitive and I feel like I’ve heard them before from articles or other books that talk about making connections. Not a lot of prompts or examples of what to say, when to say it, etc. It’s a lot of concise information.

Chapter 5 is definitely useful and applicable to me with my future career.

Already 30% into the audiobook. I think the chapter I’m currently in (non-verbal cues) is a little not-for-me because I sometimes struggle with reading these cues, and I don’t really like true eye contact (I’ll look in the same general space of one’s eyes, but I won’t make direct eye contact).

Had to up the speech rate from 1.00x to 1.30x, and now it’s at 1.44x. It’s been a minute or so, and it’s already too slow again, haha. This is why I struggle with audiobooks - they often seem too slow for me and I lose focus because my mind starts to wander.
