I wish I had read this book a million years ago when I was trying to start my own Pagan groups. After reading about consensus group structures I realize that I dismissed the idea without really understanding anything about it.

Caroline Estes' 1984 article on the consensus process is a very good summary of how it can work in a group. My 16 year old congregation is still getting along using a slightly modified form (85% escape clause which we have only used about 3 times).
