Since this topic JUST came up again about endings changing a review of a book, I'm curious, which books had an ending that totally ruined your 5 star read?

Also, for you, is the ending very important?

I'm a middler myself. The middle must not slump or be boring, and I'm okay if the book's peak, is dead-center.
