Started 231231. On p31, now. Incidentally, the PDF I've obtained (which seems to be officially published, free of charge) has only 346 'actual' pages (or 318 'numbered' ones, after the preliminary unnumbered ones); switching to percentage progress. (There must be terms for that annoying discrepancy in digital publications. Even though such deviation is a Thing That Should not Be.) Seems 2B interesting & educational.

Steady progress; slow reading != ("is not"/does not mean) bad, in this case. Currently, much info about GNU/Debian, iso/ Kali proper; as mentioned by reviewers. Could be disappointing, overall, indeed; but many parts actually align pretty well w/ my current learning curve. Others are "n/a" to be, but add to my overview of Tux's homeland.
