God! I hate when that happens! One time I was part of a 4 girl group and two of them kept making excuses until we got the message and did it by ourselves. So when our documentary won best on live TV both those girls were stuck in traffic and me and my friend got the award alone like we deserved. Karma.

Lol. Karma indeed. I hope those 2 girls haven't been boasting about telling people how they were of such great help to you two. =)) My belated congratulations on the win, btw! ;)IKR. Though this happens to me all the time. Each semester, there just has to be that one class where I get grouped with some do-nothing fellows. But the thing is, I can't very well exclude them from the group for fear of offending them. How "lovely".
I'm in the same dumb situation right now! It's for Monday, but it is a lot to do and I haven't started yet D:I hate group presentations for this reason.

I feel ya... In fact, I have been driven to insanity for the past few hours. >.< Best of luck to your situation, though! :)
This is why I hate group works. More often than not, it is me the one who organizes everything, and I always have the bad luck of getting people who are lazy. -_-

There's always that one person who just makes up all kinds of story every time I ask where/when to gather. Seriously, group works are so not in the business of being pleasant, and that's why I much prefer working individually...
Yes, yes, yes! For my history class we had to write an essay, three pages/ person. Three! That's like nothing! Less than nothing actually and my friend still managed to miss the deadline-.- Team AntiGroupWorks as well!

I usually just cover everything, including my "non-parts"; just in case something like that happens. Those parts that are not supposed to be mine but done by me as a back-up plan are not always of the best quality due to time crunch and some remnants of hope that I won't have to end up using them after all, but at least the mission gets to be accomplished no matter the case. I just feel safer that way.
