I liked the writing style but the story stopped exactly when it started getting interesting to me.

I liked how this bleak story about a man who illegally joined a generationship and has lived in hiding for 12 years managed to be hopeful at the end. The characters would have been more dimensional though, they really felt like cardboard cutouts

Bird-Girl Builds a Machine by Hannah Yang 4*
I wish this story had been just a bit longer to have more explanation on the meaning of it, however, I really like the writing and the dynamic between the mother and the girl. Also, I'm also down for a second person narration.
