Reading for my online uni course but it's a book so still counts towards my reading goal!! Pretty interesting canvass of the historical conceptualisation of the Silk Road so far, though obviously sacrifices depth for breadth. The veracity of at least one of its claims about the emergence of the term "silk road" is questionable. Not too excited to read the rest, but it must be done...
