Plot twist in the last chapter!

Almost done! So many plot twists per chapter

“You must school your mind and not let your fears be your master.”

“How little we know, I thought, of the people we live amongst.”
“… the union was consummated before it was consecrated.”

The prose is superb. Everything is highlightable. One would think that since the language isnt contemporary it would be boring or difficult to understand but no, it has a lot of funny narration. Clever descriptions. p.49 “mirthless laugh”
“causing (him) to expire from shock”, “his periwig so large and elaborate that his rather pinched, white-powdered face seemed lost beneath its mass of tumbling curls”
