Not at all what I was hoping for. It is a memoir and so it is about his life. As a Star Trek Next Generation fan, I was hoping for more than what is included here. TNG is a very small part of the book and his life. The majority of the book is about his passion--Shakespeare. Although I am sure it was written with great honesty and humility, it often reads as pretentious. I can't wait to finish this and move on.
