I think that this book is very similar to the book called Promise Boys that was also a murder mystery book and I think a connection they have together was that the murderer was right in front of them the whole time. In Promise Boys the principal was the person who died and a student was the one who killed him, and in Killer Instinct they found the person who killed someone was a suspect the whole time.

Characterization: When I read Killer Instinct and I see how Cassie feels she probably feels on-edge. When ever she is in a situation she is very conchies and makes sure to learn and understand what situation she's in to go from their. When she came to Trina Simms house she was very understanding and was learning from the face expressions and the way that they talked with Trina.

Antagonist Their are 2 antagonists in this story. The first one is the serial killer because she is trying to stop the murders that is being created from this person that she doesn't know yet and figure out who it is to stop them. The other antagonist is Cassie, her self. While she is going through training and the cases, she is also trying to find the person who killed her mother and that is hard on her.

Genre: I think that the genre of the book Killer Instinct is mystery and thriller. I think this because their is a lot of suspense when their is an intense scene and thriller because it involves crime and is very exciting from page to page.

Static vs Dynamic: Agent sterling is a static character because she saved Cassie's life. This was shown when she shot someone in the back of the head who was chocking Cassie to death. Cassie is the dynamic charterer though, this is shown from how she has changed from a waitress at a diner to an agent that is cracking asses. She used to be a little girl in her home town but now she is one of the FBI's best assets.

From the start of The Naturals book I was wondering why Cassie wanted to be an FBI agent. But starting the book Killer Instinct I was thinking it was because it was finding who killed her mother but that is only half of it. She knows it's difficult when someone kills someone you love so she's trying to find them and get you the justice and satisfaction of punishing who killed a loved one.

The protagonist in this book is Cassie. She is a 17-year old girl who learns that she can't trust everyone she meets. Everyone thinks that she is very intelligent, helpful and to some, a beautiful person. She has made it far in her training camp to crack cases so she wont be stopping anytime soon.
