I'm very much NOT setting a reading goal this year because I fell short of my goal this year by about 10 books and I realized how much anxiety that gave me. I froze and knew I wasn't going to be able to meet my goal so I stopped reading. I realized then, why did this goal freeze me up? I thought I was doing this for fun? I am. I'm back to reading for fun, NOT for meeting an arbitrary reading goal. you should too.
