I first read a paperback of this when I was in high school, since 30 years ago. The title was "mothers three daughters" but I'm certain it's the same book, different translation. In any case, just 3 chapters in and this only barely balances between highly erotic and illegally perverted. No way you'd publish this these days.

When I can ignore the sickness of it, the absurdity makes it a fun read. The thing is that it takes conscious effort to ignore how perverted and sick it really is. Also, the paperback Id read more than half a lifetime ago had three white, blonde (?) girls on the cover. This book definitely speaks of a family of black women, even self addressing as "negress" so there wouldn't be any misunderstanding. Confusing.

Ugh. I didn't remember a lot of it. It's moved from being arousing to being sickening and it tries to oscillate between the two, but it's hard to rebuild the sexual interest when the effort to shock and appall has been so successful.
