I don't even know if I'll finish it. Honestly this is so slow going and it's just a nauseating amount of self pity

There is so much self pity and pathetic wallowing I am having such a hard time getting through this. I had to put it down and read five other books just to cleanse my pallet. I'm not even sure if I can finish it.
