Keeping the Lord's day shouldn't be a legalistic rule about what we can't do, but a glorious & refreshing practice in which we focus our attention fully on the things that are most important, the things of the redemptive kingdom of heaven

Christians pursue an ethic that exhibits the reconciliation and forgiveness that come in the gospel and forsake the claims of Justice against those who wrong them. No wonder that the new testament calls them exiles and sojourners in this world and citizens of heaven. Living by the Sermon on the Mount means that they will certainly not feel at home in the present world.
