Astonishingly, I haven't come across a Madonna and Child yet!

People who favour "skill theory" over everything else in art are gonna love the contents of this book.

There's a small triptych of Christ's Passion (folds up to approx. paperback book size) where the panels telling the story are all carved from mother of pearl. Whilst the subject is not remotely original, the material is unique in my experience when associated with the religious triptych.
