Jack C’s Reviews > A Long Walk to Water > Status Update

I finished the book and there was a big twist. THe book started really slow and boring but at the end. Salva got adopted by a family in New York.

In this book, to me, it is sort of confusing but Salva ( the main character) has to walk 4 hours to the water source to fill up a water bucket and 4 hours back home.

I just started this book but it is really good so far and I can't wait to read more. It takes place in Sudan when a war is happening and the main character's uncle comes home from war.
