So she got sick overnight and her husband still made her get up to make him breakfast? Wtf! She could have found a better way to describe what was going on around her in a less higher than thou voice.

It’s interesting- the author was in the American mindset and did not do any research into India. She seemed to assume India would adapt to her almost. It’s like she thought she was on a 2 year long vacation in the beginning. She didn’t even understand how to count money. I’m hoping there is some character development.
