So if Adriana, Crystal or Liana (my three friends who have read this book) see this … does it get better? Did you read the rest of the trilogy?
This book is right in my wheelhouse, so I will definitely finish it. But unless it starts getting more thrilling, I can’t imagine I’ll read the sequels.

It is very dense. I almost gave up on it, but Crystal encouraged me to keep going. Just when you think it's finally picking up, it ends, so you kinda have to keep reading the trilogy. I have the other books, just haven't wanted to pick up the second book just yet.

Well, that’s not encouraging, lol. I’m 2/3rds through, so I’m going to power through. But, yeah, it’s seeming less and less likely I’ll continue with the trilogy.
For what it's worth, both Crystal and another friend have sworn that the books get better. I might be brave in the next couple of months and pick up the second book. I'll let you know my thoughts on it.
