In the progression of the series we've gone from werewolves, to people with psychic abilities, to a parallel universe, to ghosts and now demons? It's too much. What is the author thinking? "How can I top that last over-the-top book?" The beginning the series seemed based in a realistic world, but as a series it's not cohesive.
