finely arranged it’s a pleasure. The school warden reminds me so much of Mr. Gallistl, our own warden, which used to detest all students until they grew older and became adults. Then, out of thin air, as if something unseen to the human eye happened, he was all of a sudden friendly and respectful. How odd. He used to chase us round the school. Would pop up behind the lockers to chase us down and send us back when we were wearing shoes. Mr. Filch is the perfect Mr. Gallistl set in the warm and mystifying backdrop of Hogwarts. I think part of the beauty of these books is that one can resonate so much with them on a lot of levels.
