Finished it ages ago...wonderful and unexpected turns in a real life. And it makes you hungry so go for it if you appreciate good food, good writing and an adventurous spirit.

Fabulous book. Amazing woman - a little nuts which is just perfect for running a restaurant. Has lived a John Irving fictional life- certainly not your average childhood.
